Be Your Own Guide

Slow as we go, we still go. When I started on this new educational chapter I planned to go straight at it full-time and get it done in a year; however, at the last minute I changed my tactics. Now here we are over a year later and I'm still in graduate school.

In many ways I'm thankful I decided to switch to a part-time academic schedule. How ironic it was that as I began my studies on Organizational Leadership the leadership of every organization in the world was being tested. It definitely helped me gain an even deeper understanding on the human psyche during conflicts.

My latest course is Conflict Resolution for Leaders, and next week is our last week. While I made a commitment to contributing to my website at least twice a month while attending classes, I haven't added any content thus far during this course. The past few weeks I've been distracted with thoughts on what changes could be made to help solve the recent conflicts within our country. In many ways it is quite serendipitous the way an increase in conflicts coincides with my studies.
