The simplest explanation of what was discussed this week is that your organization is only as good as its leadership. What does this mean? Well, if you want your organization to be efficient, then you must have efficient leaders in place. If you want your organization to be innovative, then creative problem solvers will be needed.

No matter what you envision for your company, you need to plan accordingly and have structures setup to create your management and leadership vision. While there are countless way to structure an organization, there are some fundamental ideas that can translate to all of them. For example, if a manager or leader acts as a positive ethical role model to an employee, then that employee will be more likely to adopt some of the same positive leadership traits into their own leadership style. This is why teaching good habits and skills prior to an employee reaching a management or upper-management position is critical.

Just remember you're only as good as your leaders. Develop your leaders to reflect what you want your organization to be, and success should follow.
